But the word 'newcomers' comes with a caveat. There's plenty of previous F50 experience on board: Wing trimmer Chris Draper previously raced with the British and Australian teams, while flight controller Andy Maloney raced with the Black Foils for three seasons before joining the Brazilians for their inaugural season last year. Then there's Nathan Outteridge. He drove the Japanese team to two Grand Finals in the 2022 and 2023 Seasons, finishing second in both, before joining the Swiss team in a coaching role. The three of them aren't so much newcomers as old hands.

Nevertheless, it's the team's first season. They're currently third on the season leaderboard - behind the Bonds Flying Roos and Los Gallos, both of whom have already booked their places to the Championship-deciding Grand Final.
