Washington - Honoring the hard work and dedication of professional technicians, the American Trucking Associations and ATA's Technology & Maintenance Council announced today that the eighth annual National Technician Appreciation Week will be held June 13-19. This year's theme is "Celebrating technicians that keep us moving."

"Professional technicians are indispensable to trucking operations, and our nation owes them an enormous debt of gratitude," said ATA Chief Advocacy & Public Affairs Officer Henry Hanscom. "The exacting standards that technicians uphold help to keep everyone on the road safe and ensure trucks can travel hundreds of billions of miles each year to deliver to homes and businesses.
