AUSTIN, Texas - November 6, 2026 - Quark Software, the global provider of content automation, intelligence and design software, today announced the release of QuarkXPress 2027, a major update to the software that pioneered desktop publishing. Built around customer feedback, the release removes everyday workarounds so designers can spend less time searching, switching apps and tidying files, and more time creating.

Text Scaling for Bolder Headlines - Apply horizontal and vertical scaling to the same text, up to 1000%, without leaving your style sheets. Condensed headlines and bold display type stay fully editable.
Feature Finder in Plain Language - Type what you need in your own words in the new Help & Support palette and Feature Finder shows the menu path, short steps and a one-click way to open the feature. It runs on the designer's own computer and comes with every license on Mac and Windows.
Paste Into for Layered Designs - Place text, images or whole groups inside any shape, then keep editing the mask, nest containers and scale content in proportion. Anchor Paste Into shapes right in your text and turn a pasted PDF into editable objects. Layered looks that once needed a second app now take a single paste.
Bullets and Numbering Built for Long Documents - New Circle and Dash bullet styles keep catalogs, manuals and reports in order without manual fixes.
