Atchison County Route F bridge over Rock Creek scheduled to close Oct. 20

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Rock Creek Bridge on Atchison County Route F near Westboro is scheduled to close on Monday, Oct. 20 for a deck replacement project. The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. to replace the decks of two bridges in Holt County and one in Atchison County.

Traffic Impacts: During construction, Route F will be closed at the Rock Creek Bridge. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route. Route F is scheduled to reopen by December 2025.

As a part of this project, the decks were replaced on the Mill Creek Bridge on Holt County Route T and the U.S. Route 59 Bridge over Interstate 29 in Holt County. All work is expected to be completed by December 2025.
