FLAGSTAFF - Work to improve a 14-mile stretch of US 160 in the Tuba City area in Northeastern Arizona is scheduled to start the week of April 6-10, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Drivers should allow extra travel time due to anticipated delays while resurfacing and other work, including guardrail and drainage system upgrades, are underway both in and east of Tuba City (mileposts 321-335).
ADOT is working on the $20.5 million US 160 improvement project in cooperation with the Navajo Nation and Hopi Tribe. The entire project is scheduled for completion in fall 2026. More information is available at azdot.gov/US160Improvements.
