Reminder: Window 3 CDFI Certification Reapplication Deadlines Approaching

Friday, December 5, 2025

As a reminder, Certified CDFIs in Window 3 of the CDFI Certification General Reapplication Submission Window must act now to submit their CDFI Certification Applications to avoid delays or loss of their CDFI Certified status. This applies to all CDFIs with a reapplication submission deadline of December 31, 2025, who have not already submitted their CDFI Certification Applications for review.

The CDFI Fund will be answering questions from Window 3 Applicants about the CDFI Certification Application until 11:59 p.m. ET on December 10, 2025. After that time, Application questions from Window 3 Applicants received via Help Desk calls, Help Desk e-mails, and Service Requests will not be answered. Technical support for AMIS will not be available after 5:00 p.m. ET on December 31, 2025.

Important TLR Deadlines

Organizations needing to modify the Transaction Level Report (TLR) must submit a Service Request in AMIS by 11:59 p.m. ET on December 10, 2025. Substantive TLR and Target Market Calculator questions are also due by that date.

Note: The AMIS Service Request dates above are also applicable to organizations who submitted a CDFI Certification Application during the Early Application Period (October 28, 2024 to January 6, 2025) and were declined and now must submit a CDFI Certification Application by December 31, 2025 in order to retain their CDFI Certification status pending Application review.

No extensions will be granted. Missing your assigned window will result in the loss of CDFI Certification.
