General Election – Preliminary In-Person Voting Results

Your Vote. Your Way. Vote Frederick.

This evening, November 4, 2025, the City of Frederick received the preliminary results from in-person voting, which includes both Early Voting and Election Day ballots.

These results do not represent the final election outcome. Additional ballots, including mail-in, drop box, and provisional ballots, must still be counted during the canvassing process.

Next Step: General Election Canvassing

The Board of Supervisors of Elections will convene on November 6, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in Conference Room C at the Municipal Annex (140 West Patrick Street, Frederick, MD 21701) to begin the canvassing of ballots received by mail or drop box, as well as the review of provisional ballots.

The canvass will continue 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. each business day until all ballot tabulation is complete. The canvass is open to the public and livestreamed on the City's YouTube Channel.

The City of Frederick will announce and post results on the City's Election webpage, share updates on the City's Facebook and Instagram, and post and stream canvassing coverage on the City's YouTube Channel.

• Tuesday, Nov. 4 (Evening): Preliminary in-person results (early voting + Election Day)
• Thursday, Nov. 6: Mail-in & drop-box ballots (Day 1 of Canvassing) | Full-day streamed live on YouTube
• Friday, Nov. 7: Mail-in & drop-box ballots (Day 2 of Canvassing, if needed) | Full-day streamed live on YouTube
