Dechert advised Motley Fool Wealth Management (Fool Wealth), a registered investment advisor managing over US$1.5 billion in client assets, on its agreement to join the growing national organization of Apollon Wealth Management, LLC (Apollon).
This strategic expansion will provide Fool Wealth's clients with access to a broader range of financial planning solutions and investment vehicles through open architecture platforms. Through this partnership, clients will gain access to enhanced planning services including advanced estate and tax strategies, comprehensive risk management, retirement and philanthropic planning and business advisory solutions. It will also strengthen Apollon's advisor base as the firm expands its presence in the nation's largest financial market.
The transaction, subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026. Motley Fool Asset Management, a separate subsidiary and ETF issuer, is independent from this transaction and will not be impacted.
Motley Fool Wealth Management, established in 2014, was created to help individuals and families outsource the work of "Foolish" investing to a professional team. Its sister company, The Motley Fool, LLC, has provided investment advice and stock recommendations to investors worldwide for more than 30 years. Apollon Wealth Management, LLC is a collaborative and transparent financial planning firm focused on helping clients grow and preserve their wealth.
The Dechert team that advised Motley Fool Wealth Management was led by financial services partner Julien Bourgeois and corporate partners Stephen Pratt and Ross MacConnell. The broader team included tax partner Josh Milgrim, financial services associate Derek Manners, corporate associate Dillan Gomes, tax associate Ishani Kundu and junior transactional associate Abigail Ferraioli.
