The 2026-27 Planet Forward correspondents.

George Washington University students Raina Pawloski and Natalie Peoples have been selected as 2026-27 Planet Forward correspondents. Pawloski, a junior in the School of Media and Public Affairs studying journalism, political science and art history, is interested in covering grassroots organizations working to protect the environment and their communities. Peoples, a second-year master's student at the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design, focuses on visual storytelling about conservation, marine ecosystems and coastal communities.

Now in its 11th cohort, Planet Forward's correspondent program gives college students opportunities to develop their skills as environmental storytellers and build professional networks. This year, correspondents will cover water issues, environmental justice and nature-based solutions.
