U.S. Route 61 in New Madrid County Closed for Culvert Replacement
SIKESTON-Route 61 in New Madrid County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace a culvert under the roadway.
This section of roadway is located from Route 62 to Route D near Lilbourn, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Dec. 30 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
