Two victims injured in Gresham shooting
Gresham Police are investigating an early-morning shooting in the Rockwood neighborhood.
Shortly before 1:00am on August 4, officers responded to reports of a shooting at the Rockwood Village Apartments on SE 185th Avenue. They found two people were injured and multiple apartments that were struck by gunfire. Both victims were transported to local hospitals. One was treated and released, while the other remains hospitalized in critical condition.
No arrests have been made. The East County Major Crimes Team is leading the investigation. SE 185th Avenue was closed north of SE Yamhill Street for several hours.
