ANACOM meets with APRITEL to discuss the renewal of rights of use for spectrum

On 11 August 2026, ANACOM welcomed representatives from APRITEL - Associação dos Operadores de Comunicações Eletrónicas (the Association of Electronic Communications Operators) to its headquarters in Lisbon for a meeting held as part of the consultation on the draft decision (DD) regarding the renewal of the rights of use for the radio spectrum (RURS) granted to MEO, NOS and Vodafone for the provision of mobile communications services.

Those representing ANACOM at the meeting were Sandra Maximiano, Chair of the Board of Directors, Raquel Brízida Castro, Vice-Chair, and Board Members Manuel Cabugueira and Marco Biscaia Fernandes.

APRITEL was represented by its President, António Coimbra, its Secretary-General, Pedro Mota Soares, as well as by Carlos Correia, Pedro Gaspar and Luís Soares.
