Hawkins Point access site on Lake Pend Oreille to close for improvements beginning April 1

Fish and Game recognizes this temporary closure is an inconvenience and appreciates the public's patience. Once the work is complete, the site will be safer, more usable and better equipped to serve the public for years to come.

Several alternative boat launch locations are available nearby, including Hope Basin and Pringle Park, both located near Hope.
