Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised IMAXXAM on the acquisition of the office tower "Lighttower" in Frankfurt's Ostend district from Deka Immobilien for the real estate fund "German Small Asset Invest" (GSAI). The transaction was structured as an asset deal. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
The "Lighttower," with 20 floors and a height of approximately 75 meters, is one of the more prominent office buildings in Frankfurt's Ostend district. Originally built in 1966, it underwent a complete refurbishment and vertical extension in 2005. The property is nearly fully leased and features a tenant base with strong credit ratings. IMAXXAM will take on the role of portfolio and asset manager.
