MoDOT to close North Third Street in Festus for bridge demolition…

JEFFERSON COUNTY- Crews will close North Third Street under I-55 from 1 p.m. Friday, October 10 to 5 a.m. Monday, October 13 for bridge demolition. Traffic on northbound I-55 has been shifted onto a new bridge over North Third Street allowing for demolition of the old northbound structure. All lanes of I-55 will remain open.

Motorist and pedestrians are encouraged to use alternative routes during the weekend closure. All work is weather permitting. All detours will be signed.
