As part of the event, ice cream drinks were available, which graduate assistant Josh Tienvieri prepared for Meling Bond, a junior in health sciences, and Sanjna Singhal, a junior in biology.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony included remarks from, left to right, Aleiah Jones, director of connection and student success; Jaden Bollinger, Student Government vice president; UToledo Provost Mitchell McKinney and President James Holloway; Sara Clark, assistant dean of students; and Alex Zernechel, director of student engagement and campus events.
The open house also featured interactive stations showcasing the office's resources and services, activities for students as well as free T-shirts, which undergraduate assistant Joshua Ford handed to Lisa Moguel, a senior in speech language pathology.
