The City of Tampa is turning up the spotlight on local talent this Friday with its inaugural Career Glow Up Job Fair, a one-of-a-kind hiring event designed to help residents shine, connect, and land meaningful work.

The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Friday, November 7, at the City Center at Hanna Avenue, 2555 E. Hanna Ave. Job seekers can expect dozens of employers, instant hiring opportunities, live music, complimentary lunch (with advanced registration), giveaways, and a featured "Career Glow Bar," including free professional headshots, a resume workshop, and interview coaching.

"We want every person in Tampa to have the chance to build a future they're proud of," said Mayor Jane Castor. "We all remember that first job or the one that finally felt like the right fit. That's what this event is about: helping people find meaningful work they can be proud of and giving them the support to keep moving forward."

The Career Glow Up Job Fair is part of the City of Tampa's ongoing commitment to expand workforce opportunities. More information on the TPA-WRX initiative can be found here.
