Meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea

On 26 August 2026, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin received Jon Song Shik, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for the further development of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the Republic of Korea.

The sides also exchanged views on pressing issues of the international and regional agenda of mutual interest.

Particular attention was paid to preparations for the upcoming "Central Asia - Republic of Korea" Summit. The sides exchanged views on the substantive preparations for the forthcoming event and expressed their interest in further strengthening and expanding multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.
