NAMPA - The Idaho Transportation Department will begin work Wednesday, Feb. 4, to install a traffic signal at the intersection of State Highway 45 and Locust Lane.
Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures on SH-45 in March, with a flagger on site to control traffic.
More significant traffic impacts are expected to begin in early April. At that time, Locust Lane will close fully for approximately two weeks. Exact dates for the closure will be shared once they are confirmed.
The traffic signal is scheduled to become active in May 2026.
Drivers should plan ahead and check 511.idaho.gov or the 511 mobile app for the latest information on lane closures, detours and delays.
