Q. How long have you worked at W&L?
I've been at W&L for 4.5 years.

Q. What do you like most about working at W&L?
I enjoy the sense of community that is fostered by both students and employees. I also love our scenic little mountain campus location.

Q. Where is your favorite location on the W&L campus?
I love the back campus trails!

Q. Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Roanoke, Virginia.

Q. What advice do you have for students (or parents)?
Take full advantage of the incredible W&L network opportunities.

Q. What's your favorite thing to do when you're not working?
Hiking, playing video games, attending concerts, gardening and spending time with my loved ones.

Q. If you could live anywhere, where would you build your dream home?
Anywhere with a mountain view. I love the Grand Tetons in Montana, but my heart is here in the Blue Ridge.

Q. Who most inspires you?
My mom! She has taught me that courage doesn't mean fearlessness, it means doing what's right even when you're afraid. She's shown me the power of truth, even when it's heavy, and the importance of standing beside those who need a voice.

Q. What book are you reading now?
"The Lonesome Dove" by Larry McMurtry. My favorite line is: "If you want one thing too much it's likely to be a disappointment. The healthy way is to learn to like the everyday things, like soft beds and buttermilk - and feisty gentlemen."

Q. What is your favorite film (movie) of all time?
It's a tie between "Pulp Fiction" and "Sinners."

Q. What is the website you visit most often and why?
Probably Seat Geek or Stub Hub. I am always looking for the best deal for my next concert!

Q. If they made a movie about your life, who would play you?
Definitely Zoë Kravitz!

Q. Which historical figure do you most identify with and why?
Teddy Roosevelt. I admire his unwavering love and curiosity for nature and adventure.

Q. If you could have coffee with one person, who would it be and why?
I'd love to have coffee with my grandma one more time. I miss her.

Q. What is your desert island food?
Not practical, but a guilty pleasure - White Castle burgers!

Q. Tell us something most people don't know about you.
Even though I am only five feet tall, there are very few things that scare me.

Q. What is your secret talent?
Painting landscapes. I don't do it often anymore because of my workload, but I am proud of the works I have created.

Q. Anything else you'd like to share?
I love horror movies and all things odd and spooky! If anyone is up for some spooky fall adventures and needs someone to go with them, reach out to me!
