Monday, 15 December 2025

Northern Beaches Mayor Sue Heins has expressed sincere condolences to the friends and family of loved ones lost in the devastating and heinous attack at Bondi on Sunday.

Our thoughts and best wishes are also with those fighting for their lives in hospitals across Sydney.

We thank the incredible efforts of our first responders and the immediate community members who risked their own lives to save others.

There is simply no place for such acts of hatred and violence in Australia - today we take strength in our community and support for one another.

Along with Member for Manly James Griffin, a condolence book is set up in Manly Town Hall, and the Northern Beaches community is invited to show their respect and grief for those lost by signing the book.
