ORR Webinar to Brief Industry on New BEA Outdoor Recreation Statistics
The Outdoor Recreation Roundtable and the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis will release 2025 data on the outdoor recreation economy during a webinar Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. The event will include perspectives from leaders across the outdoor industry.
The annual Outdoor Recreation Satellite Account provides national and state-level figures on the sector's economic impact. The latest data showed outdoor recreation generated $1.3 trillion in economic impact, or 2.4% of U.S. gross domestic product, and supported 5.2 million jobs in 2024.
