Animal Shelter Plans Grand Reopening Dec. 8-14
The Richardson Animal Shelter is celebrating its recent remodeling with a week of festivities and specials. From Dec. 8-14, all pet adoptions and microchipping will be free.
The Shelter officially opened the doors on its newly renovated facility on Nov. 12. As part of the voter-approved 2021 Bond Program, the Animal Shelter received a new main entrance, entry façade and expanded staff offices, in addition to new storage rooms, minor updates to the staff and public restrooms and the break room.
