Women in Construction Event at NMU Friday

Northern Michigan University will host its annual Middle School Women in Construction Career Exploration event on Friday, April 10, in the Jacobetti complex. About 175 students from regional school districts are scheduled to participate.
Offered for grades 6-8, the program will rotate students through four hands-on activity stations: woodworking, construction management, STEM and masonry. The stations will run from 9:45-10:30 a.m., 10:35-11:20 a.m., 12:05-12:50 p.m. and 12:55-1:40 p.m.
