Greg Thompson Named Chief Technology Officer at GFT

Thompson joins GFT from AECOM, where he served as corporate vice president, digital, spearheading customer-facing transformation efforts and digital consulting initiatives across global business lines. Prior to that, he led global innovation programs at AWS, creating smart venue and utility solutions that leveraged cloud and edge computing, AI/ML, and the Internet of Things (IoT). At Schneider Electric, Thompson held multiple global leadership roles, leading product strategy and launching industry-leading digital platforms.

Thompson holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Kentucky and is a certified AWS Cloud Practitioner. He also holds several patents in utility monitoring and digital integration.
