SACRAMENTO - Equality California, the nation's largest statewide LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, today announced the endorsements of twelve candidates running for national and state offices - the organization's largest group of non-incumbent endorsements to date ahead of the 2026 primary and midterm elections.
"This election cycle it is paramount that we work hard and ensure we're electing pro-equality candidates up and down the ballot," said Executive Director Tony Hoang. "Whether in the halls of Congress, the chambers of the California legislature, or on statewide boards and commissions, the voices of LGBTQ+ people and our allies are necessary to ensure our community's needs are being addressed with the appropriate concern and consideration."
