(CNA reporter Pan Zhiyi, Taipei, 25th) Commercial display rack supplier Horizon Metal said today that after winning display rack orders from Chinese chain convenience stores in the first half of the year, it has successfully entered the Chinese market and is actively expanding business opportunities in Europe and Southeast Asia. Its new factory in Surabaya, Indonesia is expected to officially start production in the second half of the year.

Horizon Metal (Horizon-KY) held its regular shareholders' meeting today. Chairman Liao Zhaoyi stated that in the first quarter of 2025, the company officially obtained orders for commercial display racks for stores in Central and East China of China's FamilyMart convenience store chain, and jig racks for electric vehicle engine production from China International Marine Containers (CIMC), China's largest container manufacturer. In addition, its new plant in Surabaya, Indonesia is expected to officially start production in the second half of the year.

According to Horizon-KY statistics, the company's consolidated revenue for the full year of 2024 will be NT$4.014 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3.88%; net profit after tax will be NT$747 million. Due to the expansion of listed share capital, the earnings per share (EPS) after tax in 2024 will be NT$14.3, which still sets the second highest record in history.

Horizon-KY noted that by deepening its transformation into the original design manufacturing (ODM) business for commercial display stands, sales of this business reached a record high in 2024, increasing its share of overall revenue to 66.97%. The company has particularly reaped significant rewards in new product and customer acquisition, not only becoming the first and only Asian supplier for Target Retail Group but also expanding its business partnerships with numerous clients, including the first and second largest home improvement retailers in the United States and a U.S. department store chain.
