FDNY Commissioner Robert S. Tucker to Preside Over Graduation Ceremony for 154 Probationary Emergency Medical Technicians

The Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) Commissioner Robert S. Tucker will preside over a graduation ceremony for Probationary Emergency Medical Technicians on Tuesday, October 21st at 10 a.m. at the Christian Cultural Center, 12020 Flatlands Ave, Brooklyn. The ceremony can be viewed live on the Department's website at https://www.nyc.gov/FDNY or HERE.

During their time at the FDNY EMS Academy, EMTs were trained in FDNY operations and procedures including CPR; patient medical and trauma assessments; oxygen and ventilation skills; management of hypotension and fractures; and spinal immobilization and emergency childbirth; and emergency vehicle operation.

The new EMTs will be assigned to units throughout New York City.
