Officers responded to an Alewife Brook Parkway business for a report of a shoplifting in progress. Officers stopped and identified the suspect who admitted to stealing $46 in merchandise. The suspect was formally trespassed from the business.

A Jamaica Plain resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Shoplifting by Asportation - 3rd Offense. An employee of a Brattle St. business reported that the suspect had stolen an $18 bottle of wine. Officers were able to stop and identify the suspect, the merchandise was recovered.
