BOLO: U.S. Park Police Arrest Suspect in Baltimore-Washington Parkway Road Rage Shooting; Seeking Additional Witnesses

WASHINGTON - The United States Park Police Major Crimes Unit has arrested a suspect in connection with a road rage shooting that occurred on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway on May 24, 2026.

At approximately 5:15 a.m. on May 24, the victim was traveling northbound on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway near Landover Road in Cheverly, Maryland, when a road rage incident resulted in the victim's vehicle being struck by gunfire.

On May 26, 2026, U.S. Park Police detectives obtained an arrest warrant charging Dionis Antonio Arias-Corsino with first-degree assault in connection with the shooting.

On May 28, 2026, Arias-Corsino was arrested by U.S. Park Police in Prince George's County, Maryland. During the arrest, investigators recovered a firearm believed to have been used in the shooting.

The investigation remains ongoing.
