Cary, NC - Cary Police continue investigating an early morning fatal crash between a pedestrian and a vehicle. Shortly after 7 a.m., Cary emergency personnel responded to Ederlee Drive near Peregrine Place, where they discovered a black in color SUV had hit pedestrian Soile Lazarz, 76, of Cary. The driver and their children passengers were not injured. This remains an active scene; Ederlee Drive near Regency Parkway will remain closed through the late afternoon to support crash investigations, and adjacent access to the Symphony Greenway may be limited. At this time, no charges have been filed.
