Shaheen Highlights Federal Funding She Secured for Affordable Housing in Salem, Health Care Accessibility in Nashua

First in Nashua, Shaheen toured Southern New Hampshire Health with hospital leadership and learned more about how their purchase of a PET/CT scanner has improved care for patients. In the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 government funding legislation, Shaheen secured $453,000 in CDS for the purchase of this critical medical imagery technology to increase health care access for the entire region. Shaheen's visit comes roughly one year after congressional Republicans cut billions in federal health care funding.
