Watch Parker McCollum Pause Performance To Help Fans With Gender Reveal

Parker McCollum paused a recent performance to help fans with their "clever" gender reveal on stage.

McCollum shared a clip of that moment on Instagram on Wednesday morning (August 19). The concertgoers brought their young daughter - who shares her name with the award-winning country star - to the concert to be present for the announcement. They held up a sign that reads: "Will you help us find out if it's Boots or Bows?"

"'Will you help us find out…' Are we doing a gender reveal? Is that what it is?" McCollum said as he read the sign from the stage. "'Will you help us find out if it's Boots or Bows?' That's so clever." He asked the couple, "what's your daughter's name? …Get out. Her name is Parker? Let's go!"

McCollum read the gender reveal: "'Congratulations. We are all so excited for you guys. It's a girl!' …Congratulations. Y'all make a round of applause for the newest addition to the family. Parker's going to be a big sister, y'all. Come on."

The gender reveal takes place shortly after McCollum and his wife, Hallie Ray Light McCollum, welcomed their second child. Rocker Tommy Light McCollum was born on July 30. Hallie wrote in a shared caption on Instagram with Parker, ""THANK YOU JESUS for another healthy baby boy! we are so in love with our little fam! mom & dad x 2 here we gooooooo!" Rocker Tommy joined big brother Major Yancey Tyler McCollum, who was born on August 8, 2024.
