Parking By-Law
In accordance with the Local Government Act 1993, public notification is given of Council's intention to make a proposed By-Law No.1 of 2026 entitled "Parking By-Law".
The purpose of the By-Law is to regulate and control car parks belonging to or controlled by the Devonport City Council and control abandoned vehicles in roads and public places and section 100 of the Local Government (Highways) Act 1982.
Submissions from the public are invited on the proposed By-Law. All submissions are required to made in writing and mailed to the Chief Executive Officer, PO Box 604, Devonport 7310 or emailed to [email protected]
The period within which submissions may be made will close at 5:00pm on Friday 23 October 2026.
