NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 Choice Filling Closes Soon: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has already opened the window for choice filling for NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 counselling. Candidates who want to secure a seat under 50% All India Quota (AIQ) or Deemed/Central Universities and AFMS must complete their choice submission before the deadline. As per the official schedule, the choice filling facility will remain active till September 21, 2026, up to 10:00 AM (server time) .
Candidates should also note that the choice locking process will start at 06:00 PM on September 20, 2026, and end at 10:00 AM on September 21, 2026. If you do not lock your choices manually, the system will automatically lock your filled choices after the given timeline.
To ensure you don't miss out on your preferred college and seat allotment, follow these instructions to fill your choices correctly on the official MCC portal:
Visit the Official Website: Go to the official portal mcc.nic.in and log in using your credentials like NEET MDS Roll Number and Password.
Review Seat Matrix: Check the newly added seats and clear virtual vacancy list before making final options.
Add & Rearrange Preferences: Select your desired MDS specialization and institutes. Arrange them in strict order of priority, placing your top preferences at the very top.
Save Progress Regularly: Keep saving your selections continuously while modifying your list to avoid losing unsaved data due to session timeout.
Lock Final Choices: Choice locking window opens on September 20 at 6:00 PM. Make sure to lock your options after cross checking everything.
Print Confirmation: Once locked, download and save a printed copy of your final locked choices for future reference.
The seat allotment processing will take place on September 21 and 22, and the official result for NEET MDS Round 2 will be declared on September 23, 2026. Alloted candidates will then need to report to their respective colleges between September 24 and September 30, 2026.
