Horizon Cares Day Returns September 22, Continuing a Tradition of Giving Back

Michigan City, Indiana - Horizon Bank will once again dedicate a day to service through its annual Horizon Cares Day on September 22, 2026. Now in its fourth year, the initiative will bring together nearly 800 Advisors from across Indiana and Michigan, who will spend the day volunteering with more than 80 nonprofit organizations. To support this effort, all Horizon Bank branches will be closed as employees focus on making a meaningful difference in the communities they serve.

Horizon Cares Day reflects the bank's belief that meaningful community impact starts with active involvement. Throughout the day, Advisors will partner with local nonprofits on a variety of projects designed to address community needs, strengthen local organizations, and support the people they serve.

The event will also feature Horizon's annual Advisor Awards, recognizing team members whose contributions exemplify the bank's values. The Exceptional Leadership Award honors Advisors who inspire others through leadership, innovation, and dedication, while the Spirit of Community Service Award celebrates individuals who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to volunteerism and community engagement.
