Steel-Weld Inspection & Plate Repairs Continues on Carquinez Bridge

Contra Costa & Solano Counties - Caltrans continues to perform essential T1 Steel Weld Inspection Project weld inspections and repairs on the Carquinez Bridge (I-80). This work is critical to maintaining the ongoing structural integrity of the bridge.

Carquinez Bridge closures are expected to continue through March 2026, weather permitting.

Carquinez Bridge Eastbound I-80 Lane/Ramp Closures

Full Closure: EB I-80 Onramp from Pomona St/San Pablo Ave

Lane Closures: EB I-80 Lanes 3 and 4 from Refinery Rd to Carquinez Toll Plaza

• Monday-Thursday: 3AM - 1PM
• Friday [Thursday Night to Friday Morning]: 11PM -7AM
• Saturday: -[Friday Night to Saturday Morning]: 11PM - 8AM

All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
