Columbia Police respond to robbery on Towne Drive

(COLUMBIA, MO)-

At about 12:30 a.m. Nov. 5, Columbia Police responded to a robbery call at a business in the 1600 block of Towne Drive.

An employee told police officers that a tall, thin Black male wearing all black clothing entered the business, placed a pink drawstring bag on the counter and demanded money. The suspect displayed the handle of a pistol in his waistband to the employee and then jumped over the counter. After collecting money, the suspect fled the business. At this time, the suspect is not in custody.
