The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released a Request for Applications for a new voluntary model - Long-term Enhanced ACO Design (LEAD) Model - which is designed to expand provider participation in Accountable Care Organizations (ACO), strengthen care coordination among high-needs and dual eligible patients, and enhance preventive care. Beginning Jan. 1, 2027, the model includes a number of unique features, such as a 10-year performance period without rebasing, different risk tracks, and multiple capitated payment options.
Watch this on-demand webinar for a deep dive into the new model and how your organization can take advantage of it, especially if you are a health system new to value-based care.
