University of the Cumberlands to Host Veterans Benefits Fair November 2

The event will connect veterans, military service members, and their families with healthcare, education, career, and community resources.

University of the Cumberlands will host a Veterans Benefits Fair on Monday, Nov. 2, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Boswell Campus Center in Williamsburg, Kentucky.

Organized by Cumberlands' Department of Military Affairs, the event is open to the public and will bring together local organizations and community partners offering resources and support for veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their families. No registration is required.

"From educational and career opportunities to healthcare, mental health resources, and community assistance programs, the fair brings essential information and services together in one convenient location," said Kami Corcoran, director of military benefits at Cumberlands.

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with organizations offering information about veterans benefits, educational and career opportunities, healthcare services, mental health support, and community assistance programs. The fair will take place on the mid-level of the Boswell Campus Center (BCC) on Cumberlands' Williamsburg campus.

For Cumberlands, the Veterans Benefits Fair is an extension of its ongoing commitment to serving those who have served or are currently serving in the nation's military.

"At the University of the Cumberlands, we proudly serve more than 500 students who are actively utilizing military education benefits, along with many others who have family members who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces," shared Corcoran.

Cumberlands has been recognized as a Gold Military Friendly® School for multiple academic years, including 2026-2027, reflecting its commitment to providing educational opportunities and support for military-connected students.

But that commitment doesn't end with education.

"At University of the Cumberlands, we recognize that supporting our military community extends beyond the classroom," said Corcoran. "Through events like the Veteran Resource Fair, we hope to empower veterans and their families with the connections, knowledge, and resources they need to thrive personally, professionally, and academically."

Veterans, military service members, and their families are encouraged to attend the Nov. 2 fair, ask questions, and explore available resources. The event is open to the public, and no registration is required.
