Planning Enforcement Appeals decisions

The Minister for the Environment, Deputy Steve Luce, has dismissed two planning enforcement appeals relating to the restaurant, formerly Nude Dunes, on Route de la Pulente, St Brelade. The enforcement notices will remain in place.

Appeals: ENF/2025/00016/001 & ENF/2025/00016/002

The first appeal concerned an alleged unauthorised creation of a self-contained residential unit. The second related to the alleged unauthorised erection/placement of a modular building and wooden fence.

An Independent planning inspector reviewed both cases, visiting the site, considering written representations, and holding a hearing before submitting their report.

After full consideration of the inspector's findings and recommendations, the Minister determined, under Article 116 of the Planning and Building (Jersey) Law 2002, that there were no reasons to depart from the inspector's advice.

Decision

Both appeals have been dismissed, and the enforcement notices will stand, with the compliance period being set at two months from the date of the Ministerial Decision, due 18 February 2026.
