Planning Commission to consider 800 Oak Grove Ave. project Sept. 14

The Planning Commission will consider the 800 Oak Grove Ave. project at its meeting Monday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m. The applicant is seeking approval of an architectural control permit to remove an existing parking lot and construct a new six-story, approximately 72-foot-tall multifamily residential building with 15 units. The project would also convert and expand an existing two-story bank building into a two-story non-medical office building with a roof deck. A proposed below market rate (BMR) housing agreement includes one unit affordable to very low-income households and payment of an in-lieu fee.

The Planning Commission will also consider recommending the City Council approve a tentative subdivision map to subdivide the development into 15 condominium residential units in the residential building and one commercial unit in the existing commercial building. The City Council will consider action on the tentative map at its Sept. 22 meeting. The agenda will be available 72 hours before the meeting.
