Share Post

CANNON BEACH, Ore. (June 11, 2026) - Public Coast Brewing Co. is celebrating summer-and a decade of craft brewing in Cannon Beach-with the release of two limited-edition beers: the returning Raspberry Tart Ale and Violent Violet Double Hazy IPA. The seasonal releases are part of the brewery's yearlong 10th-anniversary celebration, bringing back and highlighting beloved both fan and the brewer's favorites.

"We're excited to welcome back Raspberry Tart Ale and Violent Violet Double Hazy IPA," said Will Leroux, brewer at Public Coast Brewing Co. "Violent Violet is especially meaningful because it was created in collaboration with Big Dogs Brewing Co. Working alongside another brewery to combine our expertise and creativity was a rewarding experience and a great way to celebrate 10 years of brewing and serving the Cannon Beach community."

The Raspberry Tart Ale is a refreshing sour ale bursting with the bright, citrusy character of freshly picked raspberries. Brewed with raspberry purée and Lemondrop hops, the 5.7% ABV beer delivers a balanced blend of sweet and tart flavors, making it an ideal companion for summer adventures.

The Violent Violet Double Hazy IPA showcases one of Public Coast Brewing Co.'s signature strengths: incorporating locally grown blueberries from Public Coast Farm into its craft beers. Featuring an 7.0% ABV and a generous double dry-hop profile, the hazy IPA balances bold hop character with the subtle sweetness and vibrant flavor of fresh blueberries.

Both Violent Violet Double Hazy IPA and Raspberry Tart Ale will be available for a limited time at the Public Coast Brewing Co. brewpub in Cannon Beach, and available for purchase in 16-ounce four-packs.

About Public Coast Farm

Oregon's historic Route 26, known to Portlanders as the Sunset Highway, has welcomed generations of families traveling to and from the coast on its forested byway. Now Public Coast Farm sits on that very route, straddling West Dairy Creek at the base of the Coastal Range, on a 40-acre site lush with blueberry bushes, beehives, fruit orchards and hops. The farm is fertile ground for the farm's sister properties - the Stephanie Inn and Public Coast Brewing Co. - each of which incorporates Public Coast Farm's fresh ingredients into delicious dishes and seasonal beers.
