CicLAvia-Meet the Hollywoods Presented by Metro will take place on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
Due to local impacts from the July 16 water main break in West Hollywood, the CicLAvia route boundary has been adjusted and will now end at the intersection of N. La Cienega Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard. The event will close Santa Monica Boulevard from N. La Cienega Boulevard to N. La Brea Avenue to vehicle traffic and thousands of cyclists will fill the streets.
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, 2026 from the Hollywood Walk of Fame to the heart of the City of West Hollywood's iconic stretch of historic Route 66, everyone is invited to come along for the ride and walk, bike, roll, and stroll through the area's most iconic streets. The City of West Hollywood, and the neighborhoods of Hollywood and East Hollywood in the City of Los Angeles will be transformed into car-free open streets for the day.
CicLAvia is a nonprofit organization that catalyzes vibrant public spaces, active transportation, and good health through car-free streets. CicLAvia engages with people to transform our relationship with our communities and with each other. Inspired by Bogotá's weekly ciclovía, CicLAvia temporarily closes streets to car traffic and opens them to Angelenos to use as a public park. Free for all, CicLAvia connects communities to each other across an expansive city, creating a safe place to bike, walk, skate, roll, and dance through Los Angeles County. More than 1.8 million people have experienced CicLAvia; it is the biggest open streets event in the United States.
