Meeting of Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia Vahe Gevorgyan with SCO Secretary-General Nurlan Yermekbayev
12 August, 2026On 12 August, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the People's Republic of China Vahe Gevorgyan met with SCO Secretary-General Nurlan Yermekbayev.
During the meeting, Ambassador Gevorgyan presented Armenia's approaches to the development of cooperation with the SCO and highlighted the importance of Armenia's participation in the "SCO Plus" Summit.
SCO Secretary-General Nurlan Yermekbayev briefed the Ambassador on the preparations for the upcoming meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State and related events to be held in Kyrgyzstan.
Both sides underscored the importance of further developing and expanding the established effective cooperation.
