Your Voice Matters: Make it Count!

Next Tuesday, Americans will have an important opportunity to make their voices heard. Regardless of your political affiliation, your beliefs, or the candidates you support, I encourage every eligible voter to get out and vote. The right to vote is one of the most important freedoms we enjoy as Americans, and it is a responsibility we should never take for granted. Our republic is strongest when citizens participate, stay engaged, and make their voices heard at the ballot box. Don't sit this one out. Exercise your right to vote next Tuesday, November 3rd.

Moving Kingman's Land Exchange One Step Closer to Reality

This week, we took another major step toward completing the long-awaited FAA land exchange in Kingman. After years of me working directly with the FAA, engaging agency leadership, and partnering with local officials, the FAA has published a Federal Register notice opening the public comment period for the proposed release of approximately 832 acres of airport property. This is significant progress for Kingman and a testament to what can be accomplished when local leaders have a partner in Congress willing to push federal agencies to get things done. These acres are no longer needed for airport operations, and their release would open the door to new industrial development, private investment, and good-paying jobs. I commend Kingman's local officials for their foresight and continued partnership in getting us to this point. The public comment period runs through November 27. We are closer than ever to turning this long-standing effort into a reality for Kingman and its residents. Click here to read more about this important development.

I Warned You: Radical Left-Wing Agitation Isn't Staying in Europe

Last week, I warned about the growing violence and political unrest spreading across Europe. Now, reports this week of leaked documents outlining a Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)-linked strategy to provoke a major confrontation with the Trump administration raise troubling questions about whether similar tactics could be coming to our own country.

According to the reporting, radical socialist activists here in America are planning coordinated and "sustained mass violence and street clashes" ahead of the 2028 presidential election, hoping to provoke President Trump into invoking the Insurrection Act.

If these reports are accurate, this is not simply a protest. It is a calculated violent political strategy that risks putting Americans in harm's way for partisan gain. Former DSA member Jake Altman has also warned publicly about what he describes as the organization's growing extremist and radicalized elements.

Planned violence, attacks on law enforcement and deliberate attempts to manufacture a national crisis must be condemned. But we also need to ask a basic question: Who is paying for these operations?

Many of these demonstrations are highly organized, and Americans deserve to know who is financing them. That is precisely why I introduced the Putting Trust in Transparency Act, legislation requiring greater transparency from NGOs receiving taxpayer funding. Taxpayer dollars should never be used to bankroll political activism behind closed doors. My bill shines a light on these funding sources and gives the American people the accountability they deserve. If public money is involved, the public has a right to know where it is going.

Americans must reject radical leftist political violence, demand transparency and hold those responsible accountable. We cannot allow socialist extremists to manufacture chaos, put lives at risk and then exploit the consequences for political power. Our first responsibility must always be protecting the American people and defending the rule of law.

Report: Law and Order are Back While Crime Drops Across America

For years, Americans watched as the Biden administration pursued open-border policies while soft-on-crime approaches undermined confidence in law enforcement and public safety. That approach is now being replaced with a renewed focus on enforcing our laws, securing our borders and holding criminals accountable.

New data released this week by the Department of Justice show a 25% nationwide decline in non-fatal violent crime from 2024 to 2025. Aggravated assault fell 31%, motor vehicle theft dropped 30%, and property crime victimization declined 19%. These are significant improvements for American families and communities.

Under President Trump, federal authorities have stepped up enforcement, including targeted operations in major cities to combat violent crime and illegal immigration. Congressional Republicans are working alongside the Trump administration to restore accountability and support the rule of law.

Public safety is not optional. Americans deserve safe neighborhoods, secure borders and a government that puts law-abiding citizens first. That is what enforcing the law looks like.

Surprise, Arizona Shines on a National List of Best Places in America!

This week, Surprise is putting Arizona's Ninth Congressional District in the spotlight! U.S. News & World Report named Surprise to its 2027 Best Places to Retire list, ranking the community No. 156 among the nation's top 250 cities.

Surprise was one of four Arizona communities to make the list, alongside Gilbert, Queen Creek, and Marana. The rankings consider quality of life, value, health care, taxes, and other factors important to retirees.

From the neighborhoods where families put down roots to the communities where retirees begin their next chapter, Surprise is a reminder of the many reasons to be proud of Arizona's Ninth District. National recognition like this celebrates the communities that make our district a special place to live, work, and call home!

And Finally…

Forget the Grand Canyon for a moment. Arizona has another reason to make the national list! This week, Business Insider highlighted the best cinnamon roll in every state, based on Yelp reviews, and Arizona's top honors go to Rise Up Bakery in Gilbert! The bakery earned rave reviews for its enormous, delicious cinnamon rolls, including a popular banana Biscoff version that one customer called incredible. Even the little ones get some extra love! It's always nice to see Arizona businesses getting national recognition. Congratulations to Rise Up Bakery for putting Arizona on the map, one cinnamon roll at a time!
