President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs of Denmark Morten Bødskov.

The Head of State thanked Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, the Government, and the people of Denmark for their strong support for Ukraine throughout the years of the full-scale Russian invasion."We count on you and on the continuation of such warm and productive relations. We are grateful for the Danish model - it sent a clear message to other countries and helped boost the production of our drones and missiles. So we are truly thankful for such steps that you are taking together with us," the President said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his appreciation for Denmark's Presidency of the Council of the European Union during this half-year and for its support of our country on the path to EU membership. The Head of State noted that Ukraine expects progress and knows that Denmark is doing everything possible on its part.

"It is a great honor for us to be here. We have arrived with the largest Danish business delegation ever to visit Ukraine. And it is not just a business delegation - if you count everyone currently in Ukraine, our delegation includes about 150 people representing businesses and government institutions. All of them have come to explore opportunities for new forms of cooperation," the Minister said.The President commended Denmark's decision to establish joint weapons production. Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Morten Bødskov discussed the continuation of defense cooperation, in particular, mechanisms for financing and insurance. The discussion also touched upon the export of Ukrainian weapons and Ukraine's readiness to open export platforms, including in Europe.
The parties also discussed the situation with drones that violated Danish airspace three times in September, as well as Ukraine's experience in protecting critical infrastructure. The President stressed that our state is ready to assist and share its expertise.

The meeting also addressed Ukraine's reconstruction, in particular Denmark's patronage over the Mykolaiv region and projects that could be implemented in the future. The Minister assured that major Danish companies are ready to join reconstruction efforts.Before the meeting, the Head of State accepted the letters of credence from the newly appointed Ambassador of Denmark to Ukraine, Thomas Lund-Sørensen, and congratulated him on the start of his diplomatic mission in Ukraine.
