City of Frederick Christmas Tree Drop-Off and Recycling Program Begins December 26

The City of Frederick's Christmas Tree Drop-Off and Recycling Program will begin on December 26, 2025, and continue through January 31, 2026. Residents may drop off natural Christmas trees at the following designated locations:

• Harry Grove Stadium (upper parking lot)
  21 Stadium Drive, Frederick, MD 21703
• Husky Park
  530 Highland Street, Frederick, MD 21701
• Tasker's Chance Parking Lot (behind Westridge Shopping Center)
  1100 Key Parkway, Frederick, MD 21702
• Max Kehne Parking Lot
  1100 West 7th Street, Frederick, MD 21701
• Willow Brook Park
  350 McClellan Drive, Frederick, MD 21702

Each location will have a clearly marked drop-off area. All trees must be free of ornaments, garland, tinsel, lights, tree stands, and plastic bags prior to drop-off.

As part of the City of Frederick's recycling efforts, collected Christmas trees are annually ground into mulch. This environmentally friendly program helps conserve landfill space while providing a valuable reusable resource.
