The City and Waste Management are teaming up to host a free composting workshop at 10 am on Saturday, April 11 in The Kershaw Garden at Mission Viejo City Hall, 200 Civic Center.
Composting offers significant environmental and agricultural benefits by recycling organic waste into nutrient-rich soil amendments.
Residents can learn how to turn their yard and food waste into organic fertilizer through traditional composting or vermi-composting. Compost and vermi-composting containers will be available for Mission Viejo residents to purchase or order at a significant discount.
Registration is limited and required for this free workshop. To register, contact 949-470-8458 or [email protected].
