ATLANTA - State Representative Dar'shun Kendrick (D-Lithonia) will host a town hall meeting to recap the 2026 legislative session on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 6 - 8 p.m. at New Bethel AME Church in Lithonia, Georgia.
State Senator Tonya Anderson (D-Lithonia), DeKalb County Commissioner Mereda Davis and DeKalb County Commissioner and Presiding Officer Dr. LaDena Bolton will join Rep. Kendrick as guest speakers at the town hall.
Representatives from the Georgia Budget and Policy Institute (GPBI) will be in attendance to discuss the Amended Fiscal Year and Fiscal Year budget process, and representatives from Georgia Power will also be present to discuss various community programs. Additionally, Rep. Kendrick has invited representatives from the offices of U.S. Senators Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, as well as Congressman Hank Johnson, to attend the town hall.
